Early in the morning, we will pick you up from your resort and go to the Devrent Valley, also known as the Imagination Valley, which got its name from how the fairy chimneys look like different animals and shapes. Unlike the other valleys in Cappadocia, Devrent doesn't have any churches or monasteries, but it has one of the most breathtaking landscapes that you can witness. Pasabag Our second stop on the Cappadocia Red tour will be Pasabag. Pasabag is also known as the Monks Valley. What makes this place unique is that unlike other formations of the fairy chimneys, the ones there have two or three rocks on top of them, which is highly unusual. Also, the fairy chimneys were used as home-like spaces by people who lived nearby. Some of them were even used as churches. These kinds of fairy chimneys are rare fairy chimneys to see, even in Cappadocia. Avanos After completing our tour in Pasabag, we will visit Avanos, an ancient city known for its pottery. We will attend a workshop there and see how these authentic handmade souvenirs items are being made. If you want to try to make it, you can do it under the guidance of pottery masters! After the workshop, we will go to a local Turkish restaurant to have a delicious lunch. Goreme Open Air Museum Our next stop in Red Tour in Cappadocia is Goreme Open Air Museum. This open-air museum is located in Cappadocia, highly famous for its rock churches and paintings from the 10th century. We will also check out the exceptional view of Cappadocia near the museum. Uchisar Castle Lastly, we will visit Uchisar Castle. It is very close to Goreme, so it will be a short ride from the museum. We will have more time to explore the giant fairy chimneys in here. Here, you will learn the exciting and surprising story of Uchisar Castle. After the Uchisar Castle, we will complete our Cappadocia Red Tour and drop you off back at your resort.
