Preparing for the Ephesus and Virgin Mary House Tour We will start our Ephesus and Virgin Mary House Tour, by taking you from your hotels in Kusadasi with our special vehicles. We will have a break to have breakfast at a local restaurant. After having breakfast, it takes about an hour to go to the ancient city of Ephesus, which is still on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Ephesus Ancient City & House of Virgin Mary Ephesus, is one of the best-preserved Roman cities. It was one of the largest cities in Anatolia due to its lively port in ancient times. It is accepted as one of the commercials, religious and social centers of Rome. After here, we will visit the House of Virgin Mary, which is completely built from rocks. According to the legends, Virgin Mary spent her last years in this house and died here.
